For Dr. Andrew Frerich, the dream was to come back to Marshall to practice dentistry in his hometown. After a couple years in college considering other career paths at University of Northwestern, St. Paul, he landed on a degree in Biochemistry and decided to go after the dream of dental school. After graduating from the University of MN Dental School of Dentistry in 2015, he practiced in Buffalo, MN before returning to Marshall. He practiced with his father, Dr. John Frerich for a few years before taking over the practice in 2020.

Dr. Andrew is committed to pain-free dentistry and continues to make investments in continuing education and state of the art equipment. Dr. Andrew has completed advanced courses in sedation dentistry, orthodontics, full mouth restoration, implants, guided surgical implant placement, and root canals. He is dedicated to providing the region with the highest quality dentistry possible with comfort and an anxiety- and pain-free experience as top priorities for every patient.

Dr. Andrew is married to his high school sweetheart, Kate, also a Marshall native. Kate works alongside Andrew as the Office Manager. They have three children—Nora, Henry, and Wynn. Dr. Andrew spends his time outside of the office doing typical dad things—taking care of the lawn, playing legos and Pokemon with the kids, and fixing stuff. He loves to waterski, take photos, fly his drone, and decorate the outside of the house for Christmas.
